Diaphragm Pumps
Also known as membrane pumps, diaphragm pumps use a combination of back-and-forth action of a rubber, thermoplastic or Teflon diaphragm and valves on opposite sides of the diaphragm to pump a fluid. CK Rentals’ inventory of diaphragm pumps include single or double, gas or diesel, 1- to 6-inch pumps in aluminum/cast-iron, polypropylene and stainless steel. A double diaphragm pump uses two sets of flexible membranes to pump fluids and a series of check valves to ensure fluid can only travel in one direction through the chamber.
Features and applications include:
– Motor design delivers optimum air efficiency
– Extremely versatile and can handle solids, run dry without damage
– Bolted construction for leak-free fluid handling
– Solid rubber tires for smooth rolling over tough terrain
– Ideal for slow seepage that includes trash, sand and mud, chemical transfer, de-watering underground coal mines and more
